Attorney Chiaying Lin was invited by Taipei Fuban Commercial Bank to give a speech on “Latest Trends in Fintch and AI.” Attorney Lin introduced the current application of AI in the banking industry and the potential risks it may face. She also analyzed the relevant guidelines issued by the Financial Supervisory Commission and the Bankers Association concerning the use of AI, particularly generative AI, in the banking sector.

Attorney Kaicheng Lo delivered a speech on the ethical controversies and legal issues related to speech therapists in long-term care.

On July 7, 2024, Attorney Kaicheng Lo was invited by the Taiwan Speech-Language-Hearing Association to deliver a speech on “Ethical Controversies and Legal Issues Related to Speech Therapists in Long-Term Care.” Through real case studies, he specifically introduced civil and criminal liabilities that have arisen during speech therapists’ execution of long-term care services. He also provided recommendations on how to prevent medical disputes by outlining key compliance matters before, during, and after service delivery. Additionally, he explained the procedures for speech therapists to follow when dealing with sexual harassment, including how to respond, file complaints, and seek remedies.
