Chung-Chiang LAI

Chung-chiang Lai has been continuously practicing law since 1997, specializing in corporate financing, corporate mergers and acquisitions, ownership disputes, company reorganization and bankruptcy, securities and exchange, anti-trust and unfair competition, civil and commercial cases, criminal defense, administrative relief and constitutional interpretation for tax cases. With over two decades of experience in public law, civil law, criminal law, and commercial law, along with a strong ability for comprehensive problem diagnosis and analysis, Chung-chiang Lai is able to earn the trust of clients, whether serving as legal counsel for small and medium-sized enterprises or publicly traded companies, as well as financial institutions.

Attorney Lai has been involved in domestic financial crisis company reorganization case in 1998, cases of provisional injunction of telecommunications operator licenses in 2003, election litigation in 2004, the Fair Trade Commission’s major website merger and acquisition consolidation case in 2007, crisis management for fixed network operators under pressure from foreign 

banks in 2007, the legislation of the Special Guard Service Acts in 2012, the controversies surrounding the Cross-Strait Service Trade Agreement in 2014, Amendment to Article 5-3 of the Act Governing Relations between the People of the Taiwan Area and the Mainland Area in 2019, as well as the battle for the ownership of local enterprises in 2020.
